As owner of the local tree service, My Backyard LLC, Bob has always had a passion for working with wood. From his love for nature and, in his own words,  “being an advocate for the tree”, it’s not hard to believe that bringing home and burning wood full of potential every day was a hard thing for Bob to do. So he did something about it, he purchased a portable sawmill and opened Valley Mill & Board. Now, these trees, instead of wasting them, are being brought home and put to good use helping Bob pursue his passion. Valley Mill & Board provides artisan-crafted live edge, and log furniture. We offer both premade products and custom-built to order pieces. DIY Wood is available by request.
